Can I use fully concealed hinges with lipped kitchen cabinets?
I am refinishing my kitchen cabinets, and I want to install new concealed hinges. I can’t seem to find fully concealed hinges for cabinets with a lip or rabbit, like the ones I have. I have seen the partially concealed hinges, but I want a fully concealed version. I have frame type cabinets.
The only kind of hinges you can get that are fully hidden are called european hinges. They have to have a pocket hole drilled and are sold wherever hinges are sold.

It sounds as if the hinge body is pushed in to far causing the door to become Hinge bound. Undo the large screw holding the body to the back plate ease out the door towards you 1-2 mm then lock the body again by tightening the main screw.
