Pool safety fence is the only type of pool fence designed specifically for use around swimming pools to prevent child and/or pet access.[citation needed] Removable pool fences use a series of sections ranging from 6′ to 15′ in length connected at the top by a child-proof latch. Each section consists of a number of poles spaced at regular intervals and mounted into plastic or aluminum inserts that are core drilled into the pool deck or other substantial surface and a mesh material that stretches across those poles. The fence is made sturdy by the extreme tension it is manufactured and installed under. Mesh pool fence comes in many different colors, including black, white, green, tan, and brown. The mesh itself is made to be nearly transparent, especially in the darker colors. The support poles are normally made of either aluminum or fiberglass. Aluminum support poles are often powder coated different colors for pool owners’ aesthetic preference.

Where I live the law requires that a pool be enclosed by a 5 foot non-climbable fence. I suspect you are bound by similar laws.
There are also legal principles that will find you responsible if you did not exercise reasonable care to protect others from the danger of drowning in your pool (even if they were trespassing there).
Further, there are special "attractive nuisance" rules that apply to children who might be tempted to sneak into your pool.
You should see a lawyer for more info, or save the money, and just build the fence.
Salt water stains on my pool fence - how to remove?
I live close to the beach and I have noticed white stains on my pool fence (metal fence). How do I remove it?
Also there are rust stains from the fence poles on my white pavers, I tried 1 to 10 acid, it worked but is there a permanent solution to these two problems?. Tx

Swimming pool fence laws in Tennessee?
I am putting up an above ground swimming pool in middle Tennessee and I’m trying to follow regulations (already called Call before you dig, etc). What is the law regarding the height of a pool that would REQUIRE a fence to surround the area of the pool? My pool is 52" and no fence surrounds our property at all. Not sure if this is relevant or not but we live in the county and also the pool is in the back yard.
I work at bldg insp office in Ala. and ours is 4ft min. height fence around the pool with a self enclosure (gate)…..Probably pretty standard. Everyone using International Building code now……….Mostly……….
